Group of four lovely old / antique teddy bear friends. From a late relatives estate clearance and private collection of old toys and bears.
This group consists of:
Beige, straw-filled, fully jointed bear, hump back, fabric pads, stitched mouth, nose and claws, approximately 23″ tall, possibly German. In good / fair condition for age, one leg is stiff / repaired at the top with a couple of stitches. Wearing a smart brown leathery collar round his neck.
Pair of golden / brown teddy bears, well-loved, wear and damage/wear to pads, head/neck joints are very loose and have got stretchy fabric round their necks to stop them wobbling about (please see photos). The boy bear has a repair to his tummy (please see photos). Need some TLC but lovely old well-loved, cuddly couple of bears in their matching pink hand knitted clothing. Height approximately 16″ tall.
Golden, funny old growling bear (growler works – sometimes needs a bit of a shake to get it going), good/fair condition golden fur, fully jointed limbs, wearing some cotton stripey trousers and tie. Approximately 15″ tall. Stitched nose and mouth, fabric pads. Stuffing feels softer than the other straw-filled bears.
Lovely group of bears. We are not bear experts so please study the photos and ask any questions you may have.
