I have for sale a gorgeous Chiltern Hugmee bear dating from around the 1940’s.
He has an excellent covering of mohair – almost 100%! His fur is darker than in the photos, more of a dark golden blonde.
He has glass eyes and original stitching to nose and mouth. A small amount of fur loss to seam above his right eye and a small amount to edges of ears.
He has velvet pads with four stitches, his feet are card lined. His right paw has had a repair, stitching to attach velvet covering to arm. His left foot has a hole were the velvet covering has come away from the foot, this could be stitched back in place.
Five way jointed, all joints nice and tight. Firmly stuffed with woodwool and kapok.
He is 15″ tall.
