I HAVE FOR AUCTION A PAIR OF CHARMING BLONDE/GOLD MOHAIR
ANTIQUE FARNELL? TWIN TEDDY BEARS STANDING 18.5 INCHES TALL
I THINK THESE DATE FROM THE EARLY 1900’s PROBABLY ABOUT 1920’s.
THEY ARE FULLY JOINTED & HAVE LONG SPOONED ARMS AND CUPPED
EARS, BOTH HAVE HUMPS, STICHED NOSE, PAWS & MOUTHS,
BOOT BUTTON EYES AND SOUNDS LIKE THEY WOULD HAVE HAD
GROWLERS (but not working). ON ONE OF THEM HAS A SMALL HOLE IN
HIS ARM SEE PIC 11 AND ON THE OTHER ONE REPLACEMENT STITCHING
ON HIS LEG SEE PIC 8. I THINK THEY MIGHT HAVE HAD REPLACEMENT
PADS. THESE LOVELY TWINS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND
HAVE SLIGHT DIFFERENCES AS ALL TWINS HAVE.
THEY HAVE NO MAKERS LABEL OR A BUTTONS IN THEIR EARS BUT
A FRIEND WHO COLLECTS TEDDYS THINKS THEY ARE FARNELL BEARS,
SO PLEASE USE YOUR OWN JUDGMENT AND VIEW ALL PHOTOS.

CONDITION IS EXCELLENT FOR THE AGE OF THESE FARNELL BEARS,
