FAMILY OF THREE 1930S ANTIQUE POLISH TEDDY BEARS
These three antique teddy bears date from the 1930s and are of Polish origin.
They do not have makers labels.
They are made of short pile rather wavy mohair typical and stuffed entirely with woodwool which is still very firm and evenly distributed.The largest bear measures aproximately 13 inches in height and is a vibrant orange-gold colour.
The middle sized bear measures approximately 12½ inches in height and is a light orange-gold colour.
The smallest bear measures approximately 9 inches in height and is a mid orange-gold colour.
All three bears are clean and have no musty or unpleasant odours of any sort.
They retain approximately 99% mohair coverage and very good unfaded colour.
Each bear has original paw pads, which are complete, intact and undamaged.
All three teddies have original (stitched in) glass eyes and original black vertically stitched noses and muzzles.
They retain all their original black stitched claws, each bear has three claws on both upper paws (hands), and four claws on both lower paws (feet).They have very light minor playwear, none of which merits individual description, but they have no serious faults, damage or repairs.
All three teddies are generally in very good condition.
They have always been together, so I am selling them together . . .They are wearing matching olive green ribbons which are not original to them.THE THREE BEARS ARE VERY SWEET & DISPLAY BEAUTIFULLY TOGETHER.
