This awesome antique Farnell teddy stands an impressive 25″ tall and is just the must gorgeous, characterful old teddy bear. He is also an incredibly rare old bear because he dates from the very early years of British teddy bear making and is unmistakably a Farnell, probably made 1st World War era and before the 1920’s. I have not seen another Farnell teddy bear of his age, condition, quality and large size offered for sale for a very long time
Luckily, he retains virtually all of his top quality golden mohair and has also kept some of his other distinctive Farmell characteristics.
Inevitably though, due to handling and extreme old age, there are some signs of wear and repairs and so where applicable, these flaws are shown in my photographs and are also described in the condition report, so please do take time to view all of the images and to read the full item description/condition report.
