Ethel is a fully jointed 11.5 inch bear – she would have been a bit taller originally but her foot pads have disappeared! She is a mix of woodwool and kapok stuffed with a non-working squeaker and is pretty much threadbare. Her pads have all gone missing and she has been stitched crudely to close over the holes. She has no nose and little buttons on wires for eyes. As a result of all this wear and tear she has chosen some lovely pieces from the dressing up box and looks gorgeous in her old outfit. Can you give this lovely old lady a home? – definitely one for the lovers of the tattier teds – she is still a strong old girl in spite of everything! xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage may seem a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
