This is Elaine,, a lovely jointed monkey, probably of German origins, dating to the 1950s . She is 16″ tall with glass eyes and a felt face with airbrushed features. Her arms, and her legs are pin jointed and all of her joints work well. She has very good plush coverage and she wears the same vintage cardigan that she had when she first came to me a few years ago. She has no rips or tears and in all she is pretty robust. She has a lovely, pleasant expression to her little face. She is clean and fresh smelling, she displays beautifully, and she would make a lovely addition to any old bear collection.
