3 beautiful pure silk items – dating from the Edwardian era to the 1930’s – in remarkable condition for their age & just exquisite. Picture 2 shows the most beautiful 2 piece set made from pure silk – it is as light as air. The dress is 40 inches long by 12 inches underarm to underarm & the matching jacket is 10 inches long by 11 inches underarm to underarm. It dates to the 30’s & has been beautifully handmade. It has clearly been used very little, if at all, & stored well as it is in immaculate condition. A truly beautiful set – lovely for a collector & wonderful displayed – it is shown on my portly 20 inch bear but would fit a larger bear.
The other dress is a really beautiful pure silk dress – handmade & smocked & dating to the Edwardian era. It is in lovely condition – & is in a lovely aged buttermilk colour – very grand looking. It is 20 inches long by 14 inches underarm to underarm so will fit a large bear – again is shown on my 20 inch bear but would fit a larger bear.
These are 3 exceptional pieces – any collector would love them xxx
