This is a nice early English bear, c. 1920. He is fully jointed, and straw stuffed throughout. His clear glass eyes are probably replacements, as are his linen paw pads. Id estimate his mohair coverage to be about 50%. A side seam on his muzzle has been repaired, this doesnt detract from his appeal however. He has also lost his embroidered nose at some point in the past.
His brown mohair is a more unusual colour than the normal golden and paler bears and he was clearly made by one of the better bear manufacturers. He measures about 15.5 inches from ear to paw.
