Delightful Old Vintage Antique Jointed Teddy BearCharlie is a cheeky old vintage teddy bear who stands at about 16 inches tall. He has obviously been well loved and cherished over his years.He has his original amber and black eyes ( non safety eyes) and stitched nose and mouth. His pads are an off white plush . He has a wood wool filled head and is firmly stuffed throughout the rest of his body with a soft filling. There may be the remains of an old squeaker in his back, which feels a bit crunchy.Charlie has a good coverage of honey coloured plush for his age with some visible seams here and there, as is to be expected. He is fully jointed with good joint connections. His ears are large and nicely cupped, and he has scooped arms. He looks very much like a Lefray teddy bear to me, but any label he did have has long gone. All this being said Charlie is a classic old bear with bags of character and a history. He holds himself together well… Like any old English chappy.Please study the photos carefully as they form part of the description. I have taken some close ups of any notable areas as best I can.Charlie is no longer suitable as a toy,he is a collectors item only.I post Monday – Friday as promptly as possible.
