~ Curious Mervin | 1920s ” Ideal ” Bear
This Is curious Mervin. He’s a lovely bear with a very cute face! He was made in the 1920’s by the American company Ideal. American bears don’t pop up that often on this side of the pond so it’s a real joy to try to find Merv a lovely home.He measures around 17inches tall. Is fully jointed and stuffed with woodwool. He is in all original condition with glass eyes, stitched facial features and cotton pads wearing his own velvet ribbon. Mervin is known as curious Mervin as he has a nosey look about him with his long neck and upturned chin.. he makes the perfect addition to any hug and he has definite character and would certainly add a certain something to any hug!Lets hope Mervin finds a little spot in a happy home very soon.
He’s pictured here with his other friends, Mr Biggley & Tiny who are also still searching for a new home.
