An antique mechanical/clockwork toy cat. Naively constructed from card & tinplate, this lovely old cat has a black plush coat and original glass eyes. Has no key. When wound she tilts her head backwards and forwards, opens her little mouth and vibrates. Size: Approx 6.5″ height . Date: C1910. Condition: Good especially considering the age and construction. Works well. Some wear mainly to the face commensurate with age and use. Suitable as a collectors item & not a childs toy. Care must be taken when winding.
