Claude – Vintage Old French Mohair Teddy Bear. This bear was in my late mothers collection and she said he was French but unsure of maker. He is 20 tall and has lovely golden mohair which is a little sparse in places – especially around paws and ears. He has amber and black glass eyes and a black (horizontal stitched) nose, mouth and claws. His paw pads have worn down to the linen backing (they may have been velvet originally as few patches remain) See close up photos. He has a shorter clipped muzzle. He has a working growler inside his tummy and he is wood wool stuffed. He is fully jointed. His limbs rotate quite loosely especially his right arm but all are secure.
