Chiltern Ting-A-Ling and his Chiltern FriendTing-A-Ling is 14″Chiltern Friend is 15″
These 2 very sweet Chiltern bears came together and would like to stay friends together. They both date to the early 1950’s.The Ting-A-Ling still chimes and is in good condition overall retaining at least 40% of his mohair with a few general sparse areas. He has his original glass eyes, mouth, nose and claw stitching and velvet pads with card lined feet. There is a mark where his foot label would have been on his right foot. There are a couple of small splits to his foot pads where the card is showing through but these are stable and no real problem. He is very firmly stuffed with wood wool and all his joints move freely.The 15″ Chiltern friend retains at least 70% of his mohair and is all original with glass eyes, rexine pads and 4 claws on all limbs still present. He is stuffed mainly with wood wool with a non working squeaker. None of his rexine pads have holes although there is a little wear especially on his right foot pad. They make a great pair.Thanks for looking.
