Chad Valley , Vintage Cat And Dog 1950s Synthetic Materials ,Labels On Both.. Condition is “Used”. Dispatched with Hermes. A Vintage set of marked Chad Valley toys from the 1950s. The yellow Cat is a zipped nightdress case, I have put some stuffing in there so she sits up, theres no reason that the zip cant be taken out and the toy sewn up with stuffing. The Dog is bright Tangerine with Caramel coloured ears in a synthetic fibre. I collect Chad Valley and like any of their Pre-1950s toys but now having a clear out prior to a move. Selling together but would separate. The thing about the synthetic materials is that the moths dont eat them so overall condition is good, obviously play worn and the Dog faded in places but no fur loss. Cat looks like it was made yesterday! She had big blue eyes, dont know if nose/mouth were ever present as theres no sign of any. The dogs eyes may not be original,I dont know, I have left them as they are. Cat is 14 long and Dog is 14 nose to tail end.
