Chad Valley ISA Elephant Royal Provenance. This stunning elephant belonged to Ian Thomas, the Queens dressmaker.Ian died in 1993 his cottage was inherited by a female friend, she kept it like a museum. When she died, her family auctioned the contents of the cottage.The auction was held by Amershams on 31 October The elephant is lovely. In really good condition with almost 100% of his grey mohair. He has 2 chad valley buttons, one on his ear, one on his collar. One states ISA patent, the other says Chad Valley. He has springs in his legs.The mohair is lovely and clean, he has no odours and is from a smoke free, pet free home. Ian never married and did not have any children.Elephant looks like he has never been played with.He is approx 16 inches long.
