This is Cedric – a very old bear in need of tlc but a proper old character. He is 18 inches tall with jointed limbs and a fixed head – it would have been jointed but it has been sewn into place and at a slight angle so he very much looks as though he is gazing out to sea – he has a faraway look in his old eyes. He is soft stuffed to body and limbs and straw stuffed to his head and he is pretty much threadbare with a little smattering of mohair to his back. His pads have all been replaced – all are serviceable – and as you can see he has some damage to his head – a smallish hole and rips to his muzzle – however, so long as he is allowed to sit quietly these don’t give him a problem. Just to add to Cedric’s woes one arm is shorter than the other – all that throwing out the anchor. In spite of all this damage Cedric is still a strong old boy – he is not going to fall apart on you – he prides himself on his sturdiness. Please take a good look at the pictures as Cedric is far from perfect and only bid if you are prepared for an old boy who has been through the wars. He will come wearing his sailor top & is a proper tatty old ted :-) xxx
