Bozley | c1950s/60’s Vintage Tipped Mohair Fechter “open mouth” Teddy Bear
This is Bozley. He’s just so cute, what a funny boy! He’s an Austrian Fechter teddy bear dating to the 1960’s. He stands 10 inches tall, is fully jointed, and firmly stuffed with woodwool. Fechter bears aren’t seen all that often, this is due to the fact that when they were made they were expensive quality bears !!! .. and Fechter chose to sell directly rather than via department stores.
Bozley has the most adorable face with stitched nose, and open mouth with sticking out felt tongue! He has a lovely shape to him with gently curved hands, blonde mohair body with warm red-brown tipped mohair to his ears, hands and feet.
He’s in lovely clean condition, all original with superb felt pads!
I think he’s a lovely playful happy bear (who has very pretty fur), and would certainly be a joyful addition to any hug!
