Babba – Old Antique Baboon Monkey- Farnell? English? Vintage Teddy Bear Pal
Here’s a very cheeky baboon to brighten up your home!!! He’s a tricky one to measure but when seated he’s around 11cm tall. He’s stuffed with kapok and woodwool and has wired limbs and wired tail. He has felt hands and face, and green glass eyes and painted facial features. He’s a very sweet little thing with a really cheeky look on his face and sits in various positions! I feel he is likely English probably made by Farnell, though initially I did think possibly Steiff, his build quality is good so I feel it’s a lead bear manufacturer. Babba can be seen here being naughty with poor Dot the lamb, who’s also looking for a new home.
