Axel is gorgeous but is named for the repair to his head that looks as if someone took an axe to the poor wee lads head! Apart from that, this gorgeous boy has the most wonderful fur coat Ive seen on one of these old Chiltern bears – its long, soft and thick, with a lovely white blonde and gold colouring. Measuring 14, Axel is five-way jointed and stuffed with a mixture of straw and kapok. His velvet paw pads are intact and he has his original glass eyes, nose and mouth stitching and most of his claw stitching too! He has a couple of repairs to his arms and one to the side of head but really is a lovely cuddly, squishy little dumpling. Axel is clean and from a smoke-free home.
