A stunning, ginger & white antique Steiff Bully dog with underscored ‘ff’ earbutton c.1930s. Bully is all original with a swivel head and sits 15 cms (10″) high, excluding ears. He’s woodwool-stuffed, and has large back-painted glass eyes, and an embroidered nose. Bully’s velvet muzzle shows a little loss of nap, along with some darkening to the left side. Also, his two front paws have sewn repairs where the internal wires had pushed through at the tips. There’s a small patch too, to the back of his left forefoot, and a non-working squeaker in his tummy. Overall, though, Bully is in great shape, with minimal loss of of mohair, mainly to the side of his right foreleg. This adorable canine is wearing a cute handknitted dicky bow wih an old silvered bell. Thanks for looking.
