~Antique Teddy Bear~
‘Melissa-Rose’ is a 19″ beautiful teddy bear with a face that melts your heart.
She is a French bear possibly a Mercer bear?? they are not seen that often so quite rare.
She has a dark brown velvet covered nose which is original but slightly worn.
Her pads have no mends and are in very good condition.
Eyes are glass with painted backs…some of the paint has come away.
Missing her mouth stitching.
The mohair is in excellent clean condition and she looks nearly new (approx 98% remains).
