‘Bluebell’ is an adorable unjointed rare blue Chiltern teddy bear from my own collection. I am unsure of her age but believe her to have been made around the 1940/50’s although she could be earlier. She is in well loved condition (see below) but despite her faults displays beautifully with other bears. She is wearing a gorgeous antique lace and cotton embroidered baby dress from the early 1900’s with a later replaced blue ribbon.

Unjointed
Glass eyes on wires (unsure if original but they are old vintage ones)
Re-stitched nose and mouth
Head is firmly filled with wood wool
Body and limbs filled with a softer filling (kapok or sub)
Original blue cotton cloth paw pads – both have darned holes
Original blue cotton cloth foot pads – in good condition
Non working squeaker
Rare blue mohair now quite sparse with most coverage to backs of legs
Age stains all over to backing fabric
Lots of darns and patched areas particularly to nose, paws and tummy

‘Bluebell’ is clean with no nasty smells and will be well packaged and sent as pictured within 3 working days of payment.
As ‘Bluebell’ is now a collectors teddy bear she is no longer suitable as a toy for young children.
