This is an Antique early Farnell teddy bear c1912 and approximately 14″ tall. He has sparse mohair in places particularly on the left hand side of his face and right arm. There have been repairs to his arms, he has replaced shoe button eyes and his paw and foot felt pads have been (neatly) replaced. Also his nose which retains part of the original stitching points more to the left side.
He comes wearing his old handmade two piece outfit, the left sleeve is torn as well as a hole in the right sleeve, various small holes in the fabric and stains on the collar. He is also wearing two vintage nautical brooches.

Although a ‘well loved’ old bear he is quite a character and remains in a strong condition.
