Antique / Vintage Magnificent 20 inch German Schuco Teddy Bear – Circa 1950
Welcome to my auction I specialise in original vintage bears in the best possible condition, so the more discerning collectors can source genuine old bears that they will be proud to own.
I have been working with bears for 40 years now, so any purchase you make from me can be done with the greatest of confidence – I have many very happy customers, many of whom are repeat buyers who appreciate the quality and integrity in my listings!
I particularly specialise in Steiff, Chiltern and musical bears but I also have other bears when I can source examples of the required quality.

This is a really striking, large sized antique German Schuco mohair Teddy Bear dating back to 1950s.
he is an exceptionally handsome bear – he measures 20 inches standing, 17 inches in seated position and is in excellent clean condition throughout.
He comes from a pet free and smoke free home
He is made from a really nice top quality grade of mohair – it is quite thick and is a stunning pale blonde colour with his muzzle and pads in a contrasting shorter darker brown coloured mohair.
Ted has excellent mohair coverage, please see pictures to evaluate.
He is fully jointed – all joints are in good working order – there are no loose ones, so he sits perfectly – there are no rips or tears to the mohair fabric.
He has the most handsome face with his original eyes and original black nose.
His paw and foot pads are all original and are made from a shorter mohair and they are all in excellent condition for his age.
He will be sent out by courier on a next day delivery.
