Barbara Pinkley |  15″ c1940’s Old Vintage German Teddy Bear w/ growler

This is Barbara Pinkley – or known as Pinky to her friends. She is a fully jointed vintage German teddy bear measuring 15 inches tall.
She dates to the 1940’s is firmly stuffed with woodwool, with stitched nose and claw stitching, and glass eyes.
She has been repaired as can be seen on her arms, but this just shows she’s been loved – so was likely an important family member and looked after. Pinky has also been given this lovely vintage pink corduroy coat which looks beautiful on her!
Pinky is a weighty bear, has a pretty shape to her with a little high humped back (not shown well on my photograph), and can chat with her working growler. I think she is a very cute bear with an endearing face, she just needs to find a special person to give her love again.
She can be seen here with her fellow German friends she used to live with, who are also now listed separately.
