Antique / Vintage 18 inch English Made Mohair Musical Teddy Bear 1950s
Welcome to my auction I specialise in original vintage bears in the best possible condition, so the more discerning collectors can source genuine old bears that they will be proud to own.
I have been working with bears for 40 years now, so any purchase you make from me can be done with the greatest of confidence – I have many very happy customers, many of whom are repeat buyers who appreciate the quality and integrity in my listings!
I particularly specialise in Steiff Chiltern bears and musical bears but I also have other bears when I find examples of the required quality.

ITEM DESCRIPTION
Layaway available on all bears please ask for details This is a really stunning all original 18 inch English mohair Teddy Bear dating to 1950s, in excellent condition.
He is looking for a new family to love him now that he has lost her original owner after many years.
Ted is an exceptionally Beautiful bear, measuring 18 inches standing, 14 inches in seated position and is in excellent clean condition throughout – please see photos.
he has a wind up music box that plays Greensleeves and this works very well.
He comes from a pet free, smoke free home.
Ted is made from a really nice grade of mohair and is a soft gold colour, and has 99% mohair coverage just a little wear around the wind up on his back.He also has a label on his leg that says made in England
he is fully jointed – all his joints are in good working order however they are a bit stiff but this is better than lose, so he sits perfectly – there are no rips or tears to his mohair fabric .
he has the most endearing face with his original amber glass eyes( they are not a perfect match very close but not exact ) as a lot of bears were in the 50s
Also his original black nose . Teds paw and foot pads are velvet and all in good condition
All in all he is a superb example of a 1950s English bear in excellent, clean condition and you can buy with confidence – he is a wonderful old Teddy with bags of character looking for a new home!
Ted will be sent out by courier on a next day delivery. (except weekends )
