This listing is only for the leopard which is sitting upright – there is a second, reclining leopard I featured in the final photo, but he’s not for sale (sentimental reasons). I just thought I’d include a photo of him so that you can see his chest tag ID and feel confident the leopard you’re buying is the same make.

This is a lovely leopard, he has a swivel head and retains his original facial stitching and green glass eyes. He has no holes or stains – but, he is missing his tail! He got picked up by it too much in his youth, and eventually lost it. It looks as though has lovingly stitched up the hole losing the tail would have caused (see photos). His mohair has thinned out in a few places across his body (this is most noticeable on his chest).

He measures 7 inches tall.

Fun fact: The real-life Christopher Robin’s ‘real’ Tigger toy was/is a sitting Jungle Toy tiger! Look up photos of Christopher Robin’s toys (which now live on show in the New York Library) and you’ll see just what I mean!

Smoke free home. I will be listing the majority of my Jungle Toys collection soon, so feel welcome to take a look ay my other items if this brand interest you. Thanks for looking.

*** DUE TO THE PANDEMIC I will dispatch through MyHermes ONLY. This is so I can minimise contact with other people (the pathways to my local post office are much too narrow to remain 2 meters apart from others, my post office itself is also small. MyHermes however will allow me to leave a parcel in my porch and have them just collect it from me). I will wipe them down with antibacterial wipes prior to packing regardless (to help minimise the risk to either you or the couriers).
It is currently recommended that after you receive any parcel – you let it sit for 24 hours before opening it (apparently not touching a parcel for this long helps reduce your chances of infection). I will send under ‘a signature required’ so I’ve guaranteed proof of delivery, however – the courier will likely sign for you (due to these unusual circumstances we’re all going through lately). I recommend you give any parcels and their contents more wipes with antibacterial wipes once you handle and open them (that’s what I’ve personally been doing with all of my own shopping lately). Thanks for reading ***
