Whilst I have ZERO knowledge over bears I have sold several over the last few years and can see that this guy is something a little bit special. I’m sure those of you in the know will have an opinion as to the maker and I would love to hear your thoughts. As for details I can add to the photos, he is about 20″ long, a little longer if you add the ears, has lovely glass eyes and there is a growler inside. As for the growler condition, he certainly has one, and does make a growl when inverted, but only if done so quickly, if you invert him slowly there is no sound, so guess it needs a little loosening. The body is very firm and solid, the fur… Well as you can see 95+% of the bear has amazing fur, there is a little bit of wear around his nose, a very small spot on the back of his head and a small area on his chest that also looks as though it has a small stitch (I’ve tried to show this in the last photo). The pads are worn as shown, especially to the feet. One final thing to note, it looks as though he has been around when somebody has been painting and there are a few light mist paint spots on the fur (mostly around his feet), I’ve taken some of these out so know they can be carefully removed/cleaned. Please take your time to look closely at the photos and if you have any questions I’d be happy to answer, but please remember I have no specialist knowledge as to manufacturer etc.. Any information you can tell me I’d love to hear!
