Henrietta
c1908 Steiff teddy bear
Henrietta is an enchanting early Steiff teddy bear c1908 with the much prized centre seam with ff button in ear. She measurers approx. 16″ and is solidly stuffed with wood wool and a now non working growler and her original nose stitching . As you can see from the pictures Henrietta has been very well loved with hardly any mohair remaining which would probably have originally been cinnamon due to the colour of the cloth which is quite unusual. She has numerous holes to the cloth including to leg and side of body ( see pics) her paws and pads have been recovered at some point you can see the wood wool exposed on her feet, she could use a little darning I have left her just as she came to me.
