A very handsome old German bear who dates to the 20’s/30’s. He is 19 inches tall, fully jointed & completely straw stuffed with a non-working growler. His pads are very old linen replacements. His shortpile mohair is a lovely cinnamon colour but he is sparsely covered & his slot in ears look as though they have been reattached – they are not perfectly positioned but I love them as they are – they are part of his character. He is a strong old chap – a lot of these bears fell to pieces – so he has done well to survive. He will come as pictured & is now in search of his forever home xxx
Please be aware I am a lover of the tattier old teds with oodles of character so bear this mind before buying – no bear will be perfect – far from it – but I guarantee they are all perfectly adorable. I try to list every bear accurately – if there is anything I forget I can only apologise – I try to put plenty of photos up so please take a good look as these form part of the description. I happily post overseas but anything over 40 in value HAS to be tracked hence overseas postage m a lot – if postage is less than quoted I will happily refund the difference.
