Wonderful antique Steiff fox terrier pup named Tatters due to the fact that his inner ears which would have been lined with felt are all but gone there is also some damage to his remaining ears. Tatters dated to c1908 and measures approx. 12″ in length and is fully jointed with remainder of his original nose stitching and shoe button eyes. There is what I would describe as a bullseye ring around his eye giving him a mischievous look. Tatters is a little doddery on his feet these days so would rather sit than stand although he can still stand. Tatters is stuffed wood wool and retains around 70% of his mohair he no longer has his button but no doubt about his heritage.
