so what can I say about this wonderful old ellie….he is adorable for starters and has traits of steiff. If you look at images on the computer you will see one very identical *wheels and all* but obviously has he has no identification such as a button. I bought him as a steiff however but will leave you to decide. Original glass eyes has cotton type tusks
He has his issues, ie aged related stains to his fur, has had a repair to his trunk which is frail but ok) he is also missing one cap on one wheel (he pictures). He appears to have a really heavy clunky thing inside his belly (maybe old noise mechanism?) and also alot of other things sounding like small debris. He is a constructed of a vert solid formed moulded structure covered with mohair. If you are brave you may decide to try and get inside him (I never was due to his age and fragility)
