Trumpet is a wonderful 1950’s elephant with fantastic markings. Sadly for his 60 old plus years he does have some failings. He has wear on his back which you can see in the pictures. He has colour fading where his ceremonial cover has been  (the cover is dusty). He has a stain on his right hand side. His ceremonial cover does cover most of this. He is grubby. However, good old trumpet has some great things going for him as well. Firstly he still retains his pull cord, when pulled it makes what I can only describe as a “mooing” noise, but it is clear. His marking are wonderful. The markings around his eyes and his eyes look almost real. (Please look at the pictures and you will see what I mean). Trumpet must have some form of rod going through his head, because if you move one ear the ear on the other side will move as well. (Please note when touching the right ear, a piece of wire sometimes pokes through but this will push back in. It is something that just a stitch will cure but not a problem)

I have had Trumpet for many years and he is fresh on the market. I am sad to see Trumpet go and I am hoping that he will find his forever home. In due elephant spirit, Trumpet is really heavy and is 21″ in length and approx 16″ high.

I am not sure who made him but have discussed him with two dealers over a period of time and it is felt he is possibly of German origin, could well be Hermann.

Please look at the pictures as they do form part of the description.

Due to so many late payers and non payers, I would appreciate payment within 48 hrs of the listing finishing. I never thought the day would come when I would actually have to put this on my listings.

Thank you for looking.

Trumpet sadly is not suitable for children as he no longer comes under the Health and Safety regulations for toys.
