A fabulous antique child’s jacket which is over a hundred years old.
The jacket is in good condition, but the silk is slightly shredding in places. The jacket is lined and closes with hooks/eyes at collar and press fasteners down front.
I have had this jacket for many years and it has been worn by a 24 inch Steiff teddy bear. The sleeves are slightly long but can be pushed back to show teddy’s paw pads.
Measurements are –
Length – 16 inches, around chest – 26 inches, sleeve length underarm – 9 inches.
