This is a lovely original old biscuit tin in the shape of a lidded picnic basket…..is just right for your teddybears picnic !!
The tin is an original Palmer Brothers Bristol, biscuit tin and dates from the late 19th or early 20th century, 1890/1910s. I believe as the cartouche inside has an Art Nouveau look to it
It is quite faded with rust damage to the paint… but has the lovely vintage look that you need for your antique and vintage bears.
The rust itself has been cleaned off a lot. It measures, 5.5″ x 3″ x 2.75″ or 14 cm x 7.5 cm x 7 cm
PLEASE EXAMINE THE PHOTOS CAREFULLY AS THEY DO FORM PART OF THE DESCRIPTION and the first two photos show the tin without sunlight ( which brightend it.) and are spot on for how it looks.
