A lovely 15″ Chad Valley Magna Bear from the 1930’s.
He is 5 way jointed, all joints move well. He is made of a golden brown short pile mohair. Dark brown cotton pads and paws. He still retains his foot label which was once red and white but us now a dirty brown and red. The writing is still clear to read dispute the dirt. He has a couple of patches of baldness on the back of his legs but apart from this he has a very good covering of mohair. I am not sure if his eyes and nose and mouth stitching are the originals but they are all a very good match and suit him well. Looking for a new hug for Christmas.
