This adorable Antique or Vintage Teddy Bear looks very much like Pooh Bear.I cannot for certain state that it is Pooh, but there appears to be a resemblance, especially in his face.
I believe that the Teddy dates to around 1920 but I cannot be certain, and I think that he is English but again, I am not sure.He measures approximately 14 inches in length and weighs around 228 grams.He is filled with wood wool as he makes a lovely scrunchy sound when squeezed.He is in good vintage condition, with some movement to his limbs and head.He has button eyes which are clearly a replacement, a hand stitched nose and did have a hand stitched mouth but this needs restitching.His pads are original but either have repair or require repair.His fur has rubbing and is a bit dirty in places.He has a non-working squeaker to his tummy.Teddy has or requires a few stitch repairs to small holes in places, but all in all he is utterly adorable and will make a lovely new friend to any family of Teddy Bears.
