This beautiful old teddy bear is a bit of a mystery because although he has so many Chiltern Hugmee characteristics, his velvet snout and nose stitching is a bit unusual.My teddy has the lovely shape of the popular Chiltern teddy bears from the 1930’s, with long arms with spoon shaped velvet pads, a pronounced hump on his back and card lined, velvet covered feet pads. I am not 100% certain that the clear glass eyes are original, but they’ve been his for quite a long time.His luxurious, honey golden mohair is virtually ‘as new’ condition and I have not spotted any signs of fur loss.
