Oscar is a wonderful early Steiff teddy bear c1905 with the most beautiful face measuring 16″ with around 80% of his lovely creamy white mohair remaining. He has his original pinky/beige nose, mouth and claw stitching. He no longer has his button but there is no doubting this lovely boy’s heritage. Oscar has a small insert to both sides of his nose (see pics) and is softly stuffed with kapok along with a now non working squeaker. All pads are original with an insert to the right paw pad. He’s a very soft squidgy ted who loves a cuddle. These early Steiff bears are very hard to find especially in this colour and condition.
