As found in our recent deceased relatives house clearance here is a really sweet little old teddy bear with nice long muzzle.  We believe this teddy to be an original antique growler Steiff c1920s bear.  Ted is just 9″ tall, a bit wobbley and rubbed in places, his little growler in his tummy does not work and the poor little chap has lost his original eyes.  No holes in him or nasty smells.  He is however a totally adorable little chap and has been sitting on my desk over the Christmas holiday making me smile!  He would love to find a nice home and some new teddy bear friends for the New Year (and maybe some new eyes so he can see the world again).

Ted feels to be straw-filled, he has a good long pointed muzzle, we can feel a growler in his tummy (unfortunately his growler is not working).  He has articulated limbs and head, a stitched nose and mouth which are coming undone (please see photos).  Teddys fine golden mohair fur is rubbed in places (especially on his chest and side of his head).  Poor teddy has lost his original little eyes (but these could easily be replaced), however he has lovely furry ears and is a very well made good quality bear.  His legs and arms are a bit wobbley but overall we think this old ted is doing very well despite his great age!

A lovely little chap, very cuddly!

There is a remnant of what looks like a tag at the base of teddys left ear but he has no other ID but we think that he is probably a German / Steiff teddy bear (please see photos).

Fantastic little old bear, looking for a lovely new home.

Thank you for looking at our bear, good luck if bidding and Happy New Year!
