I believe this to be like a Soldier’s Teddy Bear Pocket Lucky Mascot from WWI, but dating to around 1930-50.The Teddy Bear measures approximately 5 inches high and has very small orange and black glass eyes and a hand stitched nose & mouth.It weigh around 26 grams.It is filled with sawdust or wood wool because It makes a lovely scrunchy sound when squeezed.It is in very good vintage condition, with some minor signs of wear commensurate with age and use.This basically consists of minor fur loss due to an abundance of loving, minor stitch repairs in places and a few little marks.A fabulously rare example which will make a great addition to any collection of tiny Bears or Soldier Bears.Any questions, please ask prior to bidding.Please study the photos as they form part of the description.
