This adorable little Golden Teddy Bear dates I believe to around 1950 or thereabouts.
I would describe him as a first size Teddy Bear, most probably having been bought for a newborn.
Teddy measures approximately 6 inches high and weighs around 45 grams.
He is in well loved condition, with some minor wear to what I think is his Mohair coat, and requiring a gentle wash to restore his colour to its optimum appearance.
He has glass eyes, a hand stitched nose and mouth and a happy, smiling face.
His head and ears MAY have been reattached, but I am unsure.
He has what I think are leather pads-these have had some repair to the feet.
He will make a delightful addition to any Teddy Bear collection.
