This unusual Antique Small Boudoir Type Wax Head with Dressed Wire Body Doll dates to around 1900 or thereabouts.I have never seen another like this, and so believe that the Doll will make a super addition to any Wax Doll collection.It measures approximately 11.5 inches high and weighs around 73 grams.As the body is wire framed it is possible to pose it.The Wax Head has lovely detail and is adorned with a turban.
The clothes are made of velvet, net and metallic braid with beads.Considering that the Doll is around 120 years old I consider it to be in good vintage condition, with any signs of wear being commensurate with age and normal use.
