OLD from the early 1800s probably around 1830, papier mache shoulder plate head doll onn a slim leather body with wooden lower limbs.
This doll is not perfect, her shoulder plate is showing cracks, her leather body is fragile and has been glued and repaired in places, most obviously her legs above the knees. Her lower limbs are in good condition for the age, her flat heeled slippers are painted green. Her head and facial features are original and un-touched. Still an early doll and becoming harder to find in any condition!
