If anybody out there has a better idea what this bear is I would be grateful for you to message me, I had a small one similar that I was told was an American Bear . He is 22″ tall , a very straight body with long legs & arms , I don’t think a lot of American bears had long mohair , he certainly doesn’t , he is thinning all over especially his face , I have had his body covered in his long coat ever since I got him probably back in the 90’s. He has a long protruding nose with old black boot button eyes, his nose I would say has been re done with black cotton, it looks the newest part of him . His feet pads look original , the right one has been very neatly patched with 3 tiny patches. His hands have been recovered & his left hand again has very neatly been patched on the topside of his hand. He is wood wool filled all over. He has a few tiny stitches on his right arm. He goes on his travels wearing his long knitted coat. This bear is very unusual & I am sad to see him go, but downsizing is forcing me to let some go & he is one of them. He is from my own collection from my non smoking home.
