1940’S PEDIGREE? MOVING MOUTHED TEDDY BEAR 21 INCHES FOR RESTORATIONThis large bear is quite unusual. He has an open mouth that seems to have some kind of mechanism to open and close it. This has lost external levers, or whatever moved it, as there is a neat hole in the back of the head. The mouth has something very stiff inside to support it. It is lined in red felt. Filling is kapok. Is the only hospice on the Isle of Wight and lead provider of palliative care to the Island community. We care for patients suffering from, or affected by, life-shortening illnesses and provide vital help and advice for their families, friends and carers.
Those working for the benefit of the Hospice are a team of paid and volunteer staff.
We raise funds from donated goods that are distributed for sale to our 10 local shops. More unusual, collectable and bulk items are offered for auction on eBay.
Apart from PayPal and eBay listing fees all funds raised go directly to the Hospice.
