1920’s Deans Dismal Desmond
You are viewing a 1920’s Dismal Desmond stuffed dog, who, despite being 1200 years old and well loved with and played with is in very good condition, He is free from any major rips tears and damage (Apart from under his bow, this is evidence of how much he has been loved over the years) There is also some slight fraying around where his ears meet his head and on the bottoms of his legs. His colouring has slightly faded as you would expect from a 90 year old stuffed animal that was ink dyed. His bow is not original and appears to be a later addition. He discoloured and has stains in various places, but as his spots are ink dyed rather than sewn or printed I imagine any attempt to clean this would result in also cleaning off his spots. He is 15″ long and stands 12″ tall. His stitching seems secure and considering his age he appears to be in a sturdy solid condition. Under his bow is the remains of the inked Deans logo. He is stuffed with straw in a few small places and what appears to be Kaypoc. His velvet tongue is in good condition although a little rubbed after all these years.
