This is an antique 15″ bisque head doll made by Armand Marseille, Germany. Marked on back of neck with ‘1894, AM 0 DEP, Made in Germany’. Doll has a curly blonde wig, possibly human hair. There is plenty of hair but it is slightly matted in places. She has spun glass blue closing eyes, painted eyebrows and eyelashes, open mouth with four upper teeth. Soft pink complexion, dimple in chin. Fully jointed composition and wood body is in good condition. There is a rub on the right cheek, otherwise doll and clothes are in good condition.Doll is wearing vintage combinations, vintage lace trimmed petticoat, vintage shoes and socks. Scottish style dress is modern with velcro fastening.
