Zak is a lovely little old mohair bear, possibly German and dating to the 1950s. He is just 10″ tall wears a sweet little grizzly bear pendant around his neck. He has quite a startled expression and has rather short, spoon shaped arms which makes me think he may date to the austerity years leading into the 1950s after the end of World War Two. His mohair is in lovely unworn condition, and even his felt paw pads are immaculate, so whatever his history he has not been played with much and has been carefully looked after. He is an unusual old fellow with lots of character, is clean and fresh smelling, and would make a lovely addition to any old bear collection.
